THE COMPANY

Our client, an established business based in Cannock require an Assistant Management Accountant for a permanent position. Hybrid working available 2/3 days per week once fully trained. This role would suitable someone studying or AAT qualified.

THE ROLE

You will report to the Finance ail Controller, working in a small and friendly team. Your role will be varied, and you will gradually take on more responsibility. Duties will include.
• Bank Reconciliations
• Completion of weekly Aged Debt Report
• Posting invoices for overheads
• Posting purchase invoices for various companies within the group
• Posting of Expenses/credit card expenses- ensuring that all receipts are received.
• Posting of cash receipts
• Ensuring that overhead suppliers are paid on time.
• Challenging cost and suggesting opportunities to lower overheads where appropriate
• Intercompany reconciliation
• Provide support and cover to management accountant.
• Ad hoc cover for purchase ledger and credit control

REQUIREMENTS

• Ideally 1 – 2 years experience in a finance role.
• Proficient excel skills- VLOOKUP’s, Pivot tables, Sumifs.
• Relevant degree or studying towards AAT.
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Team player mindset and excellent communication skills
• Enthusiasm and a desire to continue your studies towards a professional qualification.

COMPANY BENEFITS

The company offer excellent working conditions and onsite parking. Working hours are 8.30am – 5.00pm, 1 hour for lunch and a salary of £25,000. Hybrid working available once trained which will include 2/3 days per week.
