Our client, a business located in Burntwood, requires a Part-Time Accounts Assistant for a permanent position. It is essential that you have relevant experience in a similar role and are hardworking, conscientious, and reliable. THE ROLE
• Reports to the Financial Controller
• Works in a small and busy team
• Responsible for:
o Matching, batching, and processing purchase invoices and credits
o Posting to the purchase ledger
o Posting sales ledger cash to the sales ledger daily
o Uploading documents to banking partners
o Dealing with refunds and copy invoices
o General assistance in the finance department
REQUIREMENTS
• Good understanding of the accounts function with 2+ years of experience
• Desire to work in a small and friendly team.
• Flexible and organised
• Knowledge of accounts processes is a distinct advantage.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office package and Sage 50 is advantageous.
• Computer literacy essential
