THE COMPANY

Our client is a local business based in Cannock who are experiencing a period of growth. They are looking to add a Credit Controller to their team to cover a busy period of 3 months.

THE ROLE

You will report to the Finance Manager and be responsible for chasing payments from customers and dealing with all queries on invoices. You will be working on MS Excel and Sage and have a good eye for detail. You will liaise internally with management and staff within the finance department and chase debt via the phone and email. You will ensure sales invoices have the correct information and that the ledgers reconcile to the specific accounts. Some administrative duties are also involved.

REQUIREMENTS

You will have previously worked in a credit control role for 2 – 3 years. With a good overall knowledge of the Credit department including payment history and be able to identify any discrepancies. You will be available on a very short notice and commit to this role until the end of August. Some training will be given but you will know the basics in credit control and be able to work with little supervision. You will have second to none communication skills and be reliable and hardworking.

A competitive salary of £13.35 per hour, working hours are 37.5 hrs and start and finish times are 9.00am – 5.00pm with 1 hour lunch and some flexibility.
