REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this role, you should presently be working in HR and have an understanding of the manufacturing environment. You should demonstrate confidence when interacting with management and senior staff across different company departments and exhibit a commitment to compliance and legislation. Additionally, will be studying your CIPD and want to progress your HR career. You will be reliable, approachable and above all, confidential.

THE ROLE
As the HR Assistant, you will report directly to the HR Manager in a team of 4 staff. You will be responsible for supporting the HR function at a significant manufacturing site. Your key responsibilities will include scanning, filing, saving, printing and provide administrative support to HR, Payroll and the Learning and Development teams. Uploading new starters, documentation, payroll and reviewing Training, supporting with the on boarding documentation and process of new employees, including recruitment, new starters and induction and updating Training material and other administrative tasks with the Learning and Development Manager. You will also be supporting Payroll with ensuring correct payroll documentation is accurate for employees, new starters and leavers and cover the HR Surgery to support and provide guidance on employee queries, including resetting employee passwords for time and attendance and payroll. Assist the HR team in writing letters, contracts and any other forms of communication deemed necessary and supporting Managers with updating Training Matrices. Ensuring all people-related compliance and administration activities are carried out accurately and timely manner and uunderstand and adhere to Company policies and procedures which are relevant to both the site and the working environment.
