THE COMPANY
Our client, an established based business, based in Old Hill, require a Full Time Accounts Assistant for a Permanent contract. It is essential you have relevant experience in a similar role and ideally with an Engineering or Manufacturing background. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate to add real value to the business and work as part of the team.
REQUIREMENTS
You will have a good understanding of the accounts function with 3 years plus experience. You will be looking to work in a small and friendly team. Knowledge of Pegasus Opera will be an advantage and Advanced MS Excel skills. You will be a quick learner and be looking for a long-term career with this company as they will invest in full training and Study support for the right candidate. High volume processing of invoices experience will be an advantage and available on a short notice.
THE ROLE
The role reports to the Financial Controller which is working in a small and busy team. You will post Sales Ledger Receipts, produce Aged Debtors Analysis Reports on a weekly basis and raise sales invoices to customers. You will be responsible for the Purchase Ledger, from start to finish, processing invoices, matching, and coding invoices and dealing with all supplier queries. Other duties include dealing wand paying expenses claims and general admin and filing. You will be using MS Excel and Pegasus Opera.

The company offer excellent working conditions with onsite parking. Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.00am – 4.30pm and 8.00am – 1.00pm Friday. Benefits include 24 holidays plus stats, free parking, private medical insurance, and pension, 4.5% contributed by employer. Salary up to £30,000. This role is working from an office 5 days a week.
