Our client, based in Cannock, is currently seeking a permanent Sales Order Processor to join their team. THE ROLE
As a Sales Order Processor, you will serve as the key link between the customer and various departments within the company. Your role will involve processing customer orders accurately and efficiently using the Navision system, making outbound calls to address and resolve any order-related issues, and conducting customer service follow-up calls. You will also be responsible for updating the company database with customer information, checking, and reconciling invoices, scanning, and filing documentation, raising sales invoices, managing credit notes, and pursuing outstanding debts. Additionally, you will handle any customer queries from delivery to debt collection and provide support to other team members as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, particularly with numerical data and written communication. You should be able to demonstrate strong organisational and prioritisation skills, with prior experience in a similar administrative role, including sales ledger and credit control. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, a great telephone manner, and IT competency—especially with Outlook, Word, and Excel—are essential. Familiarity with Navision would be advantageous. You should be confident, assertive, and capable of thriving in a busy, fast-paced environment.
COMPANY BENEFITS
Our client offers a competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £30,000, along with benefits such as on-site parking, a pension scheme, and death in service (DIS) coverage. The standard working hours are from 8.00am to 5.15pm, Monday to Thursday, with a 12pm finish on Fridays. Employees enjoy 25 days of holiday, including a Christmas shutdown, plus statutory holidays.
