THE COMPANY
A local business based in Rugeley is in need of an experienced Purchase Ledger Controller for an immediate start.
THE ROLE
As you step into this role, reporting to the Finance Manager, you’ll join a dynamic team responsible for meticulously processing supplier transactions. Your tasks will encompass efficiently handling a substantial influx of purchase invoices, accurately reconciling supplier statements with the ledgers, and contributing to payment runs and Proforma invoice processing as necessary. Building robust relationships with fellow team members is key, as you’ll be called upon to provide support during peak periods and handle supplier inquiries.
REQUIREMENTS
To excel in this role, you should possess 1-2 years of relevant experience, coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational and administrative abilities, coupled with a keen eye for detail, are essential. The ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines is crucial, and your proven problem-solving and analytical skills will be an asset. Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets and familiarity with the Sage invoicing system are advantageous. Immediate availability and a commitment to full-time office work are required, and your experience in high-volume transaction processing will be invaluable. The initial term for this position is two weeks, with the potential for extension.
